The assessment asks questions about your past and present drug use, work history, family back ground, living situation, legal problems, physical and mental health issues and your needs and strengths. In addition you are walked through the full set of rules of the clinic as well as your rights as a patient.

Most insurances are accepted for your medications and require our obtaining prior authorization. We do not accept third party insurers for your monthly treatment center visits at this time.

It is not necessary for you to be positive for drugs of abuse but you must be positive for buprenorphine and have the components present in your drug history that are compelling of a significantly positive history of abuse.

Family and significant others are welcome to attend any treatment center meeting other than the initial intake.

Beginning treatment as soon as you find out you are pregnant is imperative to your health and the health of your developing fetus.

Do not delay!

Without a prescription for any of our banned substances we do not allow you to continue its use. Even with a legitimate prescription, if our physicians believe there are concerns with dosages or it’s concomitant use with our medications such as a benzodiazepine like Xanax, we will notify you and your physician of our concerns. We will work to find a solution usually a reduced dose or gradual dosage tapering schedule.

The initial visit usually takes about an hour and a half. You can shorten the visit if you fill out your intake paperwork correctly and in a timely manner.

You have the right to be treated confidentially and with dignity. You are given a detailed description of your rights on admission to our program.

Each month you arrive you will be processed into the clinic with your contact information and insurance information before being drug tested. You will then await your turn to visit with your treatment team where you will be asked about any current issues you are dealing with that have effect on your state of recovery. You will also be asked for your outpatient community meetings verification sheet. Wellness Addiction Recover Services requires one community based meeting per week.

We do allow for temporary hardship financial discounts. Acceptance is based upon information we require similar to a application for a bank loan or credit card. We conduct a brief interview with you regarding your particular situation and make a decision that can be expected within one to two weeks.

Every person has different issues and needs. Successful recovery involves learning recovery and relapse prevention skills. We work with you to find solutions and coping strategies so that you can accept living life on life’s terms. We believe strongly in promoting mind, body and spirit balance.

Buprenorphine and Naltrexone. Dual diagnosis treatments with non narcotic analgesics such as anti-anxiety drugs and anti-depressants are also frequently required to assist development of a successful recovery.

We do approach treating other addictions that are intricately combined with your opiate abuse disorder such as alcoholism, cocaine, amphetamines and benzodiazepines. With this 360 degree approach we find our success rate to be markedly increased.

We have informal and formal affiliations with every in-patient facility in the nation.

First have irrefutable proof of there problem. Then if its an intervention you believe is the next step, contact our office immediately. If you believe they are agreeable to starting medication assisted recovery contact our office for assistance with scheduling an appointment.

Successful recovery has many different interpretations, our belief is that it means what the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services
( SAMHSA ) organization defines it as; “ a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.” With this definition in mind and with the addition of maintaining relapse prevention, we currently approximate 85 to 90% success rate!

Switching to buprenorphine is not a simple task. Methadone has an extremely long half life meaning that it takes a very long time to be completely removed from your system. From our experience it is important to gradually decrease dosage down to between 20 and 30 mg a day before making the switch to buprenorphine. Depending on your dose we will design a taper to meet your individual needs. Contact our office to get direction on how to begin taking these steps.

Wellness Addiction Recovery Services has a nursery to use and your children are allowed to accompany you into your treatment team meeting.

The range for these services run between 1,000$ for ‘in state’ services, and up to 10,000$ for ‘out of state’ services.
